Earth’s Treasure Necklace

Create your own rock specimen necklace, one of Earth's Treasures, at Oddyssea in Half Moon Bay, California

Making jewelry can be time consuming, exacting, and complicated. We appreciate the fine craftsmanship that goes into this sort of jewelry and offer many different shapes and styles that conform to this mode. However, we also believe that it’s possible to simply curate – select the absolute best specimens of rocks for instance – and to couple those specimens with a very simple setting and you can create something magical too.

That’s the genesis of this activity, Earth’s Treasure Necklace. We provide a combination of three different settings, brass, copper, or steel, to use as the mount for the best rock specimen you select. Our rock selection is a little different each day as we only select the best candidates for use in the activity. On any given day, one might find quartz, amethyst, citrine, pyrite, opalite, kyanite, jasper, or many others from our dozens of rocks we discover and acquire for the shop.

This activity is great for yourself or to give as a gift and is available frequently. Make sure to check out the Events page for current Oddyssea Outside hours and activities.
