We hope you have a great Thanksgiving planned and have geared up for the holiday season. We certainly have. In this newsletter, we will share information about the Jungle Terrarium Workshop, our new online store, and specials for the upcoming weekend.
We are delighted to offer a Jungle Terrarium Workshop led by Jennifer Segale, owner of Wildflower Farms and author of the Dirty Girl Gardening blog. In this workshop, you will build a delightful terrarium in a medium, hand-blown glass vessel with jungle plants, moss, and other attractive accoutrements. Read all about the workshop and Jenn here, sign-up today as space for this workshop is very limited! The workshop will occur December 6th, 2012 at 6:30 at the shop.
You asked for it, we’ve set it up. Oddyssea now has an online presence where we have shared a few of our most popular products – check it out here. Over time, we will carefully introduce a greater variety of products into the online store to assist those of you who are not able to simply drop in for a little exploration, creation, and discovery. If there’s something you’re dying to see on the shop, please let us know.
Since we are a shop and it is the eve of the biggest shopping weekend of the year, we thought we would share a little special with you. It’s a very simple offer, 25% off all apparel. Come in, look around, and take home a “Loch Ness Imposter” T-shirt for instance. It’s an attractive shirt infused with a wry sense of humor and of the absurd.
Finally, we are thankful for you. As we have been growing and adapting the store over the past few months, you have given us insight, encouragement, and inspiration with your ideas and creativity. We are humbled by your continued support and repeat visits – not just content to return yourselves – many of you bring a new set of people with you each visit. We deeply appreciate this and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

It takes a special kind of person to answer the call of duty and sacrifice one’s self in service to our grateful nation. We LOVE Veterans and believe you should have the benefit of respect and gratitude every day. However, this is a special day set aside for you and we want to provide a small thank you for your service.
Today in honor of Veteran’s Day, we are pleased to be able to extend a 10% discount on all purchases to Veterans and Active Duty Military Personnel. We would love to have you visit the shop so we can minimally say thank you in person.
Thank you for all you do.
